hd25 parts information

full comparison

With our new material, we’ve engineered a case construction that behaves with greater noise isolation, same sound signature and full variety of designs.

We offer Loco PRO parts in both Concrete and Black finish. The material can be polished to make it shine or painted with our full palette of colors.

In addition you can select the Loco Dyed parts, which have a lower 3D printing resolution but offer same sound advantages. In this case they can be dyed with a bigger range of colours or painted for a more professional finish.

All parts can be painted, from the original plastic or aluminum to our Loco Dyed or Loco Pro parts. Paint final look depends of product surface, and Loco Pro parts allow for a more smoth and professional finish.

FREQUENCY RESPONSE & ISOLATION

The next Frequency response shows the minimal differences between the stock parts and the LOCO and LOCO PRO parts. In the development of our parts our aim was to offer same sound signature and quality as stock parts. All LOCO and LOCO PRO parts do share the same internal design and by that means share the same frequency response and quality of sound.
If you intend to modify the sound signature of your headphones, please check the Pads page and take a look to the Frequency response. There, you can find greater differences between the sound curves and you can choose accordingly to your needs.
Our dramatically thicker walls (between 2 and 3 times thicker than stock) help to improve sound isolation and reduce the resonance of the headphone. You can specially feel a difference if you use strong monitors on professional environments.
Is possible to improve even more the sound isolation by the use of different pads. Softer and thicker pads offer greater sound isolation. On the graphic lower measurements mean greater sound isolation.

The frequency response above had been produced using the next gear:
–  OR – HD25 600Ohms with stock parts
–  LOCO – HD25 600Ohms with LOCO* parts
–  LOCO PRO – HD25 600Ohms with LOCO PRO* parts
–  Binaural Stereo Microphone miniDSP EARS
–  REW v5.19 Software
